Sara Franco was born in Leiria in 1971. She lives and works in Lisbon. She studied Painting at the Fine Arts University in Lisbon. As a visual artist, Sara has participated in several national and international solo and group shows, since 2000. These last years she showed her work in solo and group shows in Lisbon, Oporto, Leiria, Caldas da Rainha, Viseu, Berlin, Setúbal, Lousã, Lagos and Athens, among others places. Sara was also responsible for creating and promoting the cultural space A Válvula, with exhibitions, concerts and workshops between 2017 and 2018.
