Mariana Fidalgo. Born in 1997, at Póvoa de Varzim. She started her journey in Visual Arts, proceeding to a degree in Graphic Design and Advertising, at Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design – Politécnico do Porto, in 2015. During this course she covered a Research Grant in the area of Design , and also an internship at the school’s communication office, producing various graphic materials in the period of one year. At a professional level, in 2018 she joined Project C, a Communication Agency, with emphasis on Tourism. On the other hand, she has always been doing several projects, of design, as Freelancer. Since 2018, she has participated in volunteer activities related to the community, environment, health and animal associations, and is also the founder of Merge-The Social Magazine, where she collaborates as a Communication Designer. At this moment she is doing her Master’s in Design at ESMAD and works as a Designer at the international company Selina. As a result of the entity’s characteristics, she has interacted with designers from the most diverse parts of the globe. This direct contact certainly enriched the her personal and professional development, as well as the creative expansion in the world of Design.
