Workshop “The Fanzine as an Expression of Freedom”

It took place on December 7, 2024, at Vila Jovem – Municipal Youth Center of Vila do Conde.

This creative workshop was part of the Aos Livros! [Save Yourself from Winter] event, organized by Cabe Cave – Cultural Association and the Centro de Estudos Anterianos – Vila do Conde, with the support of the Vila do Conde Municipality.

The challenge given to the 9 young participants, aged between 15 and 17, was to develop various graphic compositions using collage and text that reflected on the theme of freedom and what this concept means to each of them. This visual exercise resulted in a collaborative publication in fanzine format featuring all their compositions.
