Aveiro Space – New Authors

During the course of the 45th Aveiro Book Fair, at the Authors’ Space, specifically on June 3, 2021, at 5:00 p.m., the Aveiro Author Day was celebrated.
To mark the occasion, the conference “New Authors, a Story of Resilience” was held.
Miguel Correia moderated a relaxed conversation, inviting three Aveiro-based artists: Tiago Margaça, Sara Miguel, and Vera Varbosa.
They talked about each one’s professional journey, their academic background, and the challenges they face daily to develop their artistic and creative activities.
It was an interesting moment of reflection and sharing that highlighted each of their capacities to resist adversity. It was also insightful to hear their opinions on what they consider necessary to improve in our city regarding the creative and artistic practice landscape.
