Booby Trap

Booby Trap was formed in early 1993 in Aveiro, known for their good humor with caustic lyrics and their characteristic crossover/thrash sound. They achieved considerable success in the national underground scene with their debut demo Brutal Intervention in 1994 and the split CD Mosh It Up in 1996. The band split up in 1997, with members moving on to other bands and projects such as Anger, Konk, and Strange Airplane.
In 2012, they reunited with three of the founding members in the lineup, adding new members, and have since recorded three original albums, one live album, two EPs, and four splits.

Since their formation, they have played hundreds of concerts, sharing the stage with some internationally renowned bands such as Ratos de Porão, Cradle Of Filth, Grave, G.B.H., Bulldozer, Orphaned Land, Malignant Tumour, among others…
