Sérgio Correia (Porto, 1980) is a graphic designer and lecturer. Graduated in Communication Design (ESAD, Matosinhos) and Specialist in Audiovisuals and Media Production (Instituto Politécnico de Tomar), he has been a lecturer at ESAD Matosinhos since 2003, in the BA Degrees in Communication Design and Digital Arts and Multimedia and in the Postgraduated Course in Type Design. At ESAD, he collaborated, as a graphic designer, in projects such as the exhibition Mediações (XIV Bienal de Cerveira, 2007), the Scope project (2009/2011), the TV documentary Design Português (RTP2, 2015), the World Graphics Day conference (2016) or ESAD International Week (2018), among others. In 2005 he founded the Asymmetric Studio, from where he worked in partnership with other national studios, in areas such as photography, graphic design and multimedia, focusing on identity and packaging projects, as well as exploring the identity of wines and its producers, an objective that led to the creation of the D-VINE brand in 2014. Meantime, T.I.N.A. was born in 2013, with a wide spectrum of action, questioning pre-established ideals and teasing the audience through ephemeral or permanent urban interventions, ironically signed like This Is Not America. He frequently invests in complementary training: Silk Screen Experimental Printing (ESAD), Programming in Processing (Catholic University), Circuit-Bending (Curtas V. Conde), Super8 (Curtas V. Conde), Robotics (ESAD), Cinema 4D (ESAD), Typography (ESAD), Illustration (ESAD) or Live visual Interfaces (Curtas V. Conde). To mention also the awards in Bolivia, Ecuador, USA, Poland, France, Taiwan, specially the Graphis Merit Award (2017), the Graphis Silver Award (2018) and the Communication Arts Award of Excellence (2018 and 2020).
