Graphic Designer born on December 26th 1979 in Ílhavo, Portugal. Has a university degree in Communication Design and Graphic Techniques by Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Portalegre (1999-2004). She has been working in Communication Design since 2002 and is currently a graphic designer for Gula Visual – Agência Criativa in Aveiro. She is also a teacher for postgraduates in “Marketing, Advertising and Design for SMEs” in Universidade Fernando Pessoa, in Porto. Fine arts and handicrafts are an important part of her creative daily life. She is also the creator and producer of the project “Retalhos by Joana de Matos”.
