TRAINER:
Ana Clode

Ana Clode is an artist and designer living in Aveiro. She initially studied Architecture but soon realized that her path had to follow Design…Her passion for the arts and the world of color is what drives her. It is within herself that she has shaped the person she is today.

DESCRIPTION:
The act of “making marks” is an ancient human need. Allowing ourselves to be guided by what we produce frees us and fuels creativity. In this workshop, we explore the power of rhythms while making marks with ink, creating unintentional compositions and seeking the unknown as a form of visual expression, concentration, and mind-body connection.
We will experiment with free expression using unusual objects, water-based materials (India ink, writing ink, watercolors), and soluble styluses, exploring their expressive potential. The drawings are not intended to represent anything specific—the focus is on the experience. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to explore and courage.
Observing forms from a new perspective will awaken creativity and help participants view their own marks with a looser, more inventive eye.
