CONTEXTUALIZATION:
Cyanotypes involve creating photographic prints in shades of blue. This process was used for copying drawings and diagrams during the 19th and 20th centuries, and it was also used for reproducing photographs. This simple and low-cost method is especially practical for replicating images.

DESCRIPTION:
This workshop provides knowledge on producing analog works, using a technique rooted in older construction processes. The method allows participants to create images for decorative purposes, or, due to its technical plasticity, for artistic expression.
Participants will learn to create cyanotypes following this procedure: preparation of photosensitive paper → sun exposure → development of the final image.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS:
Chemical solution, container for mixing chemicals, latex gloves, heavyweight foreign drawing paper, scissors/X-Acto knife, ruler, brush, clipboard, glass sheet, acetate sheets, hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂).

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS:
Some of the required materials will be provided by the organizers; participants may also bring their own.
At the end of the training, each participant may request their personalized Certificate of Participation.
