Nasceu em 1972. Apesar de formado em Eng. Eletrotécnica sempre teve uma certa inclinação para a arte como forma de perceber no mundo. Depois de muitos anos a ignorar a apetência pelo desenho que sempre teve, assume em 2005 que a arte na forma de expressão gráfica deve ter um papel mais importante na sua vida. Começa a procurar formação nesta área e depois de frequentar vários cursos informais termina em 2014 o Mestrado em Criação Artística Contemporânea pelo Departamento de Comunicação e Arte da Universidade de Aveiro. No âmbito do trabalho para a dissertação do mestrado faz uma breve passagem pela Slade School of Fine Art em Londres onde enriquece e consolida algumas vertentes da sua expressão artística. No ano seguinte participa numa residência artística em Kaunas, Lituânia, no âmbito do projeto europeu Creart. Em 2019, a paixão por formas de narrativa mais imediatas, faz com que ingresse no Clube do Desenho, no Porto, e inicie também experiências com mimeografia e risografia. Desde que assumiu que a arte entrou na sua vida que procura conciliar a sua profissão de engenheiro com as suas experimentações em desenho e expressão gráfica.

Born in 1972. Although trained in Electric Engineering, he always had a certain inclination for art as a way to perceive the world. After many years ignoring his longlife skill for drawing, he assumes in 2005 that art in the form of graphic expression must have a more important role in his life. He begins searching training in this area and after several informal trainings and courses he achieves the Masters Degree in Artistic Creation at the Department of Communication and Art of the University of Aveiro. Within the scope of the work for his dissertation for the Masters Degree he makes a brief passage by the Slade School of Fine Art in London where he enriches and consolidates some aspects of his artistic expression. In the following year he’s part of a artistic residence in Kaunas, Lithuania, within the scope of the Creart european programme. In 2019, the passion for more immediate forms of narrative makes him ingress in the Clube do Desenho, Porto, and iniciates also experimentations in mimeography and risography. Since he has assumed that art entered his life that he tries to conciliate his profession as engineer with the experimentations in drawing and graphic expression.
