The editor of the fanzine Ultra Violenta (Miguel Correia) was invited to design the cover of issue no. 1 of 22|23. The theme of this edition is The Importance of Empathy and The World is Everything That Happens.<\/p>\n

This invitation follows the newspaper\u2019s ongoing commitment to engage with both the school community and the outside world. Moreover, there was a desire to offer a creative space and an opportunity for a more unique and alternative contribution compared to the usual graphic line of this publication.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The Moliceiro newspaper began to be published in the early 1980s at Escola B\u00e1sica 2\/3 Jo\u00e3o Afonso in Aveiro. In the 2009\/2010 school year, the newspaper changed its graphic design, adopting a magazine format. That same school year, the Journalism Club was created, which became one of the most important extracurricular activities at the school. <\/p>\n

When the Agrupamento de Escolas de Aveiro was established in 2012, Jornal Moliceiro was adopted as the official newspaper of the school group.<\/p>\n

The team of teachers behind the Jornal Moliceiro, previously composed of teachers from Escola B\u00e1sica Jo\u00e3o Afonso, began to include teachers from Escola Secund\u00e1ria Homem Cristo. These teachers, in addition to guiding the students of the Journalism Club, are responsible for proofreading and editing the articles, as well as distributing the printed Jornal Moliceiro. <\/p>\n

The newspaper also features contributions from students and teachers from all schools within the school cluster (from Preschool to Secondary), former students, and parents\/guardians.<\/p>\n

School Year 2019\/2020<\/p>\n

Due to the pandemic, only two issues of the Jornal Moliceiro were published during this school year. The second issue was about to be released when classes were suspended, so it was distributed differently. We would like to thank all the parents and guardians who purchased the newspaper, with the valuable help of many class directors. If you haven\u2019t bought it yet, you can still do so at the reprography offices of the Homem Cristo and Jo\u00e3o Afonso schools. <\/p>\n

School Year 2020\/2021<\/p>\n

During this school year, the Jornal Moliceiro changed its format to 22cm x 22cm and resumed the release of three issues, despite many challenges. The club continued to operate (online during lockdown).
