The Aveiro Book Fair, which will celebrate its 45th edition this year, will take place in a new venue: the surroundings of ATLAS Aveiro. The inauguration is scheduled for 6:00 PM on May 28, and the fair will be open Monday to Thursday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Fridays from 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Saturdays and holidays from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. <\/p>\n

Highlighting theater as a literary genre, in tribute to the 140th anniversary of Teatro Aveirense, this edition of the Book Fair will open with the presentation of a monologue by Sara Barros Leit\u00e3o, \u201cProclama\u00e7\u00e3o da exist\u00eancia\u201d (\u201cProclamation of Existence\u201d), followed by a conversation between the actress and Jos\u00e9 Pina, director of Teatro Aveirense, who will discuss theater-related topics.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith a program consisting of book launches, talks with authors, gatherings, and themed days, the Aveiro City Hall aims to hold a nationally recognized literary event in the Aveiro region. The event, one of the \u2018major events\u2019 in the city post-lockdown, includes a contingency plan and many preventive and safety measures, with all activities having limited capacity and mandatory registration,\u201d the municipality stated in a press release.<\/p>\n

The program also includes the participation of several national authors, many prominent and well-known figures, as well as authors from the city and region of Aveiro. It features a rich schedule of music and theater events, with special emphasis on themed days, including Poetry Day, Aveiro Author Day, Children\u2019s Book Day, and Health and Nutrition Day.<\/p>\n

The event also offers a diverse cultural animation program, with activities for all tastes and ages. Many musical moments will be performed by local agents, reflecting a clear commitment to supporting the local cultural sector. <\/p>\n
